Easy Pesto

Pesto makes everything taste amazing! Here’s a great easy recipe. You can keep it in the fridge for quite a while to since the garlic inhibits bacterial growth. Although, you’d want to eat it sooner than later as the live enzymes decrease as the pesto takes on the dark green color.


2 cups packed fresh basil leaves

1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese

1/4 cup pine nuts

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup olive oil

lemon juice from half a lemon

3-4 garlic cloves

Blend it all up and enjoy!
